The Easiest Way to Make a Small Bedroom Look Bigger (Without Moving a Single Piece of Furniture)

Use a large mirror

Go light on the walls

Dark colours make a small room feel smaller. Light, warm whites and creams make it feel airy and open. If you can paint — go for a warm white. If you can’t, add light coloured linen curtain that hang from ceiling to floor. Height draws the eye up and makes the room feel taller than it is.

Get your curtains higher than the window
